Voices Gather in NYC for the 2nd Annual Voice Over Mixer

Folks from across the voice-over industry (and, in the case of Philip Banks, across the pond) packed into a small venue on the Lower East Side of Manhattan Saturday night for the Annual Voice Over Mixer. The event, hosted by Erik Sheppard's Voice Talent Productions for the second year in a row, allows professional voice talent and others involved in voice-over to mingle, network, and exchange business cards.

A range of accomplished voice actors specializing in fields from animation to commercials to audio books were in attendance, including Bob Bergen, Dave Courvoisier of Las Vegas, Terry Daniel, Bob Souer, and Philip Banks of the UK.

After a raffle of some nice prizes (including a personalized mp3 recording of Bob Bergen as Porky Pig), host Erik Sheppard surprised his girlfriend and voice talent LindZ Reiss with an engagement ring and a proposal which she happily accepted (read more about it over at John Florian's Voice Over Extra).
